Some Great Holiday Events at New Smyrna Beach

New Smyrna Beach is rich in shopping opportunities, quality restaurants and outdoor recreation during the winter. Thereâs a lot to love this holiday season in our beach-side town.

But, you may want to venture just outside the cityâs coastal beauty to experience some big and festive holiday events for December 2017.

Take full advantage of the nearby events and activities on your next New Smyrna Beach family vacation or stay local for the shopping, beaches and the Christmas events on the water.

The B & B Tour

When: December 17th, 2017 from 2 to 4 pm

The B & B Tour is the budget-friendly option on the list. It is also local to New Smyrna Beach and the most free-spirited, organic, and whimsical of anything else featured here.

The tour is rather simple. A number of local bed and breakfasts in the area participate every year in a self-guided tour for guests who want to venture up and down the side streets and main strips of New Smyrna Beach.

Best of all, it costs nothing! Visitors will venture from one B&B to the next. At each stop, they can stop in and say hello for a treat, while also taking a look at the outside, which will undoubtedly be filled to the brim with window decorations, lights, and maybe even some holiday-themed statues. Every participating bed and breakfast brings something special to the table on this tour through town.

You can stop at any of the participating B&Bâs. This year, in 2017, they are:

  • The Night Swan Intracoastal B&B at 512 S. Riverside Dr. (386) 423-4940
  • The Anchor Inn at 312 Washington St. (386) 428-3499
  • The Inn on the Avenue at 309 Flagler Ave. (386) 693-4808
  • The Riverview at 103 Flagler Ave (386) 428-5858
  • New participating locations may be added.

The tour is December 17th and is expected to run from 2pm to 4pm. Your two hours on the B & B Tour will be the loveliest way to find the hidden nooks of New Smyrna Beach, from Canal Street to Flagler Avenue.
